Sorry to have to write this in English (because I can´t entrust my words to Google Translate, they might change the meaning or do something so ridiculous that you would burst into laughter): just wanted to say that here in Brazil masks are no problem. People have gone all out on the homemade ones, all sorts, all colors... even "fashion masks" (our Julia could model her cow mask for you all - its hilarious!) So aren´t you Italians doing this? I am sure there are many many creative and dexterous female minds and hands, just as here... and in fact, some folks are making some necessary change doing it. And of course, businesses making bucks off of them too. But also plenty of poor grandmothers who have more time than money but are making and distributing masks among their peers. Some beautiful moments, in spite of the sadness and tragedy of the times.
